🎓 Eligibility Criteria
To apply for the 552 LRA posts, candidates must fulfill the following mandatory criteria:
1. Educational & Technical Qualifications
- Basic Education: Must have passed HSLC (Class 10) or equivalent examination from a recognized Central or State Board.
- RCCC Training (Mandatory): Must have successfully completed the 6-month Recorder Certificate Class Course (RCCC) Training from the Assam Surveys and Settlement Training Centre, Dakhingaon, Guwahati (exceptions apply for Sixth Schedule districts/other states).
- Computer Proficiency: Must have a minimum computer typing speed of 30 words per minute (WPM) in Assamese or Bengali Unicode typing, alongside basic knowledge of computer operations.
2. Age Limit (As of January 1, 2025)

💰 Salary Structure

📝 Selection Process
The selection for the Assam LRA post will be conducted in three stages:
- Written Examination (80 Marks): An Objective Type (MCQ) test comprising subjects like Mathematics (Class X standard – 10 marks), Conventional Survey (50 marks), and Modern Survey (20 marks). Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer.
- Skill Test (20 Marks): A practical computer proficiency test evaluating Assamese/Bengali typing speed, basic computer operations, data entry, and file handling.
- Document Verification: Verification of all original academic and technical certificates.
