The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have opened online applications for the post of Station Master under Centralised Employment Notice (CEN) No. 08/2026. This is a separate Station Master recruitment from 2026 onwards, and it is one of the most awaited railway recruitments for graduates this year.
The application window opened on 27 October 2026 and will close on 25 November 2026 at 11:59 PM. Candidates can apply to only one RRB, and the RRB once chosen cannot be changed later, so the choice should be made carefully after checking the zone-wise vacancies.
Vacancy note: The summary table in the detailed CEN mentions 1,215 vacancies, while the category-wise totals in Annexure-B add up to 1,265. Corrigendum No. 1 dated 27 October 2026 corrects the total to 1,265. This post uses 1,265 as the corrected total. All vacancies are provisional and may change as per the Boards.
