The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) regional offices have released the SSC Havaldar PET PST Admit Card 2026 for the additional candidates shortlisted for the Havaldar Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST). The admit cards went live from 30 October 2026 on the regional SSC admit card portals, and the physical tests are scheduled between 2 and 4 November 2026. This release covers only the additional candidates named in the SSC additional shortlist dated 7 October 2026 — it is not a fresh admit card for all Havaldar candidates, so candidates should first confirm that their roll number is on that additional list before looking for the download link.

Why There Is an Additional Admit Card: The 7 October 2026 Shortlist
The background matters here, because it explains both who can download this admit card and the condition attached to it. In the MTS 2025 Computer Based Examination, held from 4 to 20 February 2026, the results of 727 candidates had not been processed earlier because of suspected malpractices. Following partial relief granted by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, SSC processed the Havaldar results of these candidates and, on 7 October 2026, additionally shortlisted 542 candidates for the Havaldar PET/PST. The results of 15 other candidates remain in sealed cover pending police investigation. The 542 additional candidates are therefore a supplementary batch, added after the main PET/PST shortlist of 8,071 candidates, taking the total Havaldar PET/PST shortlist to 8,613 candidates against 1,153 Havaldar vacancies.
Candidates in this additional batch should note one important condition: SSC has stated that the candidature of all 542 additionally shortlisted candidates remains withheld because of the suspected activities under investigation, even though they must report for the PET/PST. Appearing for the physical tests does not by itself remove that condition — final selection remains subject to the outcome of the investigation and to the commission decision. Candidates should read the 7 October 2026 notice itself for the exact wording, and should not treat any unofficial summary as a clearance.
Region-Wise Admit Card Status (From 30 October 2026)
SSC issues Havaldar PET/PST admit cards through its regional offices, so the download link and the exact test date depend on the candidate region. Reports verified on 31 October 2026 show the following position across regions.
| Region | Status Reported |
|---|---|
| Northern Region | Additional-candidates admit card link dated 30 October 2026 |
| North Eastern Region | E-Admit Card for additional candidates activated on 30 October 2026 |
| Eastern Region | Notice dated 29 October 2026; downloads from 30 October 2026; 256 withheld candidates called for the 2–4 November window |
| Central Region | PET/PST scheduled on 3 November 2026 |
| Madhya Pradesh Region | Admit card updates posted on 30 October 2026 |
The overall PET/PST window for this additional batch is 2 to 4 November 2026, but the exact date, venue and reporting time for each candidate are printed on that candidate own admit card. The Eastern Region notice also states that the date, time and venue given are final and that change requests will not be entertained. Candidates whose region link is not active yet should check their regional SSC portal again during the day, since regional activations have been rolling out through 30 and 31 October 2026.
What the PET and PST Involve
The Havaldar PET is a walking test: male candidates must walk 1,600 metres in 15 minutes and female candidates must walk 1 kilometre in 20 minutes, as per the standards notified for this examination. The PST checks the prescribed physical standards, including height and weight, as applicable to the candidate category, with relaxations for specified categories as given in the original MTS notice. The admit card itself carries the reporting instructions and the standards applicable to the candidate, so candidates should read it fully rather than relying on a general summary. Candidates who do not meet the PET or PST standards at the test will not move to the next stage.
After the PET/PST, the next step announced for this recruitment is the First Round of Tentative Allocation (FRTA) for MTS and Havaldar together. The final result will be published only after the PET/PST stage for Havaldar candidates is complete and the final merit list is prepared. Candidates should therefore preserve their admit card, application details and PET/PST records until the final result is declared.
How to Download the SSC Havaldar PET PST Admit Card
- Visit the SSC admit card portal at ssc.gov.in/portal/admitcard, or open your regional SSC website admit card section directly.
- Select the Havaldar PET/PST admit card link for additional candidates.
- Log in with your Registration or Application Number and Date of Birth, plus the captcha shown.
- Download the admit card and take two or three clear printouts.
- Check your name, photograph, roll number, PET/PST date, venue and reporting time on the printout. If any detail is wrong, contact your regional SSC office immediately through the helpdesk details on the regional portal, rather than waiting until the test day.
SSC does not send physical copies of the admit card by post. Every candidate must obtain the printout from the official regional portal, and the admit card link for a given region is activated only a few days before that region test date. Be careful to open the additional-candidates link, not the earlier main-batch admit card page from August 2026 — the two stages have similar titles, and only the additional-candidates link covers the 2 to 4 November 2026 tests for the 542 shortlisted candidates.
Documents to Carry and Test-Day Instructions
Carry a printed copy of the admit card and a valid original government photo identity proof to the PET/PST centre — entry without the admit card is not permitted. Reach the centre well before the reporting time printed on the admit card, since physical test formalities, including verification of identity and measurement, take time. Wear suitable sports dress and footwear for the walking test, read the instructions printed on the admit card carefully, including the list of permitted and prohibited items, and follow the officials directions at the centre. Candidates claiming any relaxation must carry the supporting documents for it, since relaxations are verified at the test centre itself.
