Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be residents of Meghalaya and must have passed their degree in 2024, 2025 or 2026; candidates who passed before 2024 are not eligible. Every applicant must first enrol on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at mhrdnats.gov.in and hold a valid enrolment ID generated within three years of passing the qualifying examination. Candidates with one year or more of training or job experience after obtaining the qualification are not eligible, unless approved by the Apprenticeship Adviser. The age limit is 18 to 24 years as on 31 May 2026, with relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, Persons with Disability and ex-servicemen as per Government of India rules, and SC/ST/OBC reservation applies as per the advertisement.
How to Apply Offline
- Visit the official MeECL website meecl.nic.in and download the advertisement with the prescribed Application Format A.
- Enrol on the NATS portal (mhrdnats.gov.in) and note your enrolment number.
- Fill Format A completely — no field should be left blank — and sign it.
- Attach self-attested copies of EPIC/passport, consolidated mark sheet, date-of-birth proof, two passport-size photographs and caste certificate (if applicable).
- Submit the form with documents to the Additional Director, Human Resource Development Centre (HRDC), MeECL, Umiam – 793103, Ri-Bhoi District, Meghalaya, so that it reaches by 30 October 2026.
Incomplete forms, forms not in the prescribed format, and forms without signatures or enclosures will not be considered. Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and called for original certificate verification at their own cost.
