Vacancy Details
The 530 provisional apprentice seats are spread across 31 States and Union Territories. Candidates can apply for training seats in only one State/UT. Some of the larger state allocations include West Bengal (86), Uttar Pradesh (45), Odisha (41), Rajasthan (37), Bihar (34) and Maharashtra (32). Apprentices are trainees, not employees of the Bank, and have no right to employment after the training period.
Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must hold a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognised university, with the degree marksheet or certificate issued on or after 01 April 2022. Candidates must know at least one local language of the State/UT they choose.
Age Limit (as on 01 October 2026)
The age limit is 20 to 28 years. Standard age relaxation applies as per government rules for SC/ST, OBC and PwBD candidates.

Selection Process
Selection will be done through the following stages:
- Online Entrance Examination – conducted by BFSI SSC on 07 November 2026.
- Local Language Test – during document verification.
- Document Verification – original certificates and eligibility documents are checked.
- Medical Fitness Check – candidates must meet the prescribed medical standards.

- Complete the examination fee payment and submit details through the BFSI SSC portal (beep.bfsissc.com).
