AEES Teacher Recruitment 2026: 254 Posts, Apply

The Atomic Energy Education Society (AEES), an autonomous body under the Department of Atomic Energy, Government of India, has opened online applications for 254 teaching and related posts under Advertisement No. 01/2026. AEES Teacher Important Dates 2026

The application window opens on 2 November 2026 itself, so candidates who already have their documents ready can apply on the first day. The last date for both the application form and the fee payment is 22 November 2026, and the portal closes at 11:50 PM. Forms submitted after this time will not be accepted.

AEES Application Fee 2026

The fee must be paid online through the application portal. Candidates should keep the payment receipt safe, because it may be needed at later stages of the recruitment.

AEES Eligibility Criteria 2026

Eligibility is post-specific, and every post has its own qualification and experience requirement. The main requirements are summarised below. Candidates must read the detailed notification for subject-wise qualifications before filling the form.

Principal

Master’s Degree with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. with at least 50% marks, and experience as Principal, or 3 years as Vice-Principal, or 12 years as PGT or Lecturer, along with computer knowledge.

Vice-Principal

Master’s Degree and B.Ed. with teaching or administrative experience as prescribed in the notification.

Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)

Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. with at least 50% marks. For PGT (Computer Science), MCA or M.Sc. / M.E. / M.Tech. in Computer Science or IT with at least 50% marks and B.Ed. is required.

Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)

Graduation in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. with at least 50% marks, and CTET Paper-II qualification.

Librarian

Degree in Library Science, or Graduation with a Diploma in Library Science.

Primary Teacher (PRT)

12th pass with at least 50% marks and D.El.Ed. or B.El.Ed., along with CTET Paper-I qualification.

Primary Teacher (Music)

12th pass with a Degree or Diploma in Music.

Balvatika Teacher

Qualification as prescribed in the official notification for Balvatika (pre-primary) teaching posts. Candidates should confirm the exact requirement from the notification before applying.

One point needs special attention: CTET qualification is mandatory for TGT and PRT posts. Candidates without CTET should not apply for these posts, even if they hold the other qualifications.

AEES Salary / Pay Scale 2026

Selected candidates will be paid under the 7th Central Pay Commission pay matrix, from Level 6 to Level 12 depending on the post. The overall pay range is Rs. 35,400 to Rs. 2,09,200 per month. The post-wise levels are: Principal at Level 12, PGT at Level 8, TGT at Level 7, Librarian at Level 7 and PRT at Level 6. In addition to basic pay, selected teachers will get allowances as admissible under AEES and Government of India rules.

AEES Selection Process 2026

The selection process has the following stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): An online written test covering subject knowledge and teaching aptitude. This is the first and main screening stage.
2. Interview or Skill Test: Candidates who qualify in the CBT will be called for an interview or a skill test, depending on the post.
3. Document Verification: Original certificates, CTET qualification (where applicable) and experience certificates will be checked.
4. Medical Examination: A final medical fitness check before appointment.

Final selection will be based on performance in the CBT and the interview or skill test, subject to document verification and medical fitness. The exam date, admit card and exam city details will be announced by AEES on its official website after the application window closes.
