Educational Qualification
Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in the concerned subject along with a B.Ed. qualification, and a pass in the Teacher Eligibility Test (TET) for the upper primary level (Classes 6 to 8). Subject-wise qualification rules, including the marks condition for graduation or post-graduation, are given in the detailed notification and should be checked for the subject you are applying for.
Age Limit
The age limit is 21 to 62 years as on 01 July 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit is available for reserved categories as per Uttar Pradesh government rules and the conditions stated in the official notification.

Selection Process and Exam Pattern
Selection will be done through a written examination followed by document verification. The written exam carries 120 multiple-choice questions for 360 marks over 2 hours, with 1 mark deducted for every incorrect answer.
